Second-Hand Smoke Tied To Fertility Problems
Trying to get pregnant? Recent research shows that second hand smoke could cause you problems getting and staying pregnant.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A study recently released shows that women who breathed in secondhand smoke in childhood were more likely to have trouble getting pregnant and suffer more miscarriages than women not exposed to smoke.
The study also showed that women who have been exposed to second-hand smoke in both childhood and adulthood were 39 percent more likely to have suffered a miscarriage or stillbirth, and 68 percent more likely to have had problems getting pregnant.
