3 Inexpensive Ways to Increase Your Fertility
The fertility treatment industry brings in billions of dollars every year from women just like you that may have trouble trying to conceive. From complex procedures like In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to simple medications like Clomid, couples are shelling out the dough to try to bring their own child into the world. While some fertility issues are truly complex and will require expensive treatments to overcome, there are some relatively simple and inexpensive things you can try to increase your fertility, as well.
1. Time it Right. The fact of the matter is that you’re only fertile for a few days each month. For some women, that window of opportunity may be even smaller. Learning how to create an ovulation chart, for example, can increase your fertility chances greatly. You can track your basal body temperature or your cervical mucus to make these charts even more accurate, if you’re not having any luck after a couple of months of trying, as well. A Basal thermometer and a cervical mucus testing kit will set you back just a few dollars, and can make a big difference.
2. Optimize your Weight. Around half of all obese women will experience difficulty trying to conceive. A woman who’s overweight will have trouble, too, though not as much. Even being underweight is a risk factor for infertility. Changing your eating habits and adding in a daily exercise routine will cost you very little in terms of cash, and they have the added benefit of increasing your life expectancy, too.
3. Check into Supplements. Watching what you eat and making sure you get enough of certain nutrients is key to successfully becoming pregnant, too. Most of us probably don’t get all of the things we need in our daily diet, so you might also consider a fertility supplement. You can go the herbal route, of course, and some women experience luck with those, but even just a daily multivitamin may do wonders in terms of helping your body to operate the way it was designed to operate.
