Sperm Issues
~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~
Many of the emails I receive are from men who are concerned
about their sperm. The concern usually appears when they have
been actively trying to get pregnant for a while and have
not been successful.
When you are trying to get pregnant, it isn't always about
when you are ovulating. You can have perfect timing
where intercourse is concerned but, if the sperm are
not as healthy as they could be, conception may not be
as likely to occur.
Ultimately, the only way to know for sure if there are
male fertility issues involved, is by visiting your doctor
and getting tested.
You can buy tests online that will let you know if your
sperm count is with in the normal range. FertilMarq is
one of those tests.
The benefit of using this type of test is that it can be done
in the privacy of your own home. The problem with using
FertilMarq is that it does not cover other issues that may
be be causing a problem with conception, like sperm
morphology and sperm motility.
Using FertilMarq could be a way to getting your partner
warmed up to the idea of getting further testing done.
If there are sperm quality / quantity issues as play,
your partner may want to consider taking a fertility
supplement. Fertility Blend for Men is a scientifically
validated herbal / nutritional blend to enhance fertility
by improving sperm quality, count and motility
(spontaneous motion).

Ovulation Issues
~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~
Quite a few of the emails I receive have to do with basic
issues regarding ovulation and fertility. I will try to
address some of the topics below for you.
-----------------------------
When Am I Most Fertile?
-----------------------------
You are most fertile when your body has released an egg from
your ovaries. While that may seem an overly simplistic
explanation, it's fundamental information. As for knowing
when you, in particular, have released that egg, there are
several methods of finding out.
Ovulation (the release of the egg) takes place in the middle
of your menstrual cycle. You always calculate the cycle from
the first day of bleeding in one cycle to the first day of
bleeding in the next and that will give you the number of
days in your cycle. This can vary in many women, even from
month to month and while one cycle may be 28 days, the next
might be 27 and so on. It's a good idea to keep an ongoing
chart so you can track the lengths of your cycles.
In women whose cycles vary in length, it can be less easy to
know when ovulation is occurring, without following other
methods of finding out.
How can I find out when I'm ovulating?
-----------------------------
Can I Use An Ovulation Calendar?
-----------------------------
Ovulation calendars usually work well if you have a regular
menstrual cycle which is between 21 to 35 days long. You
can calculate your cycle by counting the days between
when your period starts to the day before your next period
starts. If you have a regular cycle, where the number of
days in your cycle doesn't vary too much (2 or 3 day difference),
you should think about giving the ovulation calendar a try.
If the number of days in your cycle does vary greatly from
month to month, you could have a hormonal imbalance that is
affecting when and if you ovulate. A visit to your doctor
may be advisable to find out what is going on. If you want
to try a less "poke and prod" method first, you may want
to give a fertility supplement a try. (Really, Vickie,
I am NOT trying to sound like a broken record here! :) )
FertilAid for women contains ingredients which help
optimize fertility safely and naturally. FertilAid is
designed to promote regular ovulation and female hormonal
balance and enhance fertility. If you visit the trying to
conceive message boards on the web you can find quite a few
stories of women how have had great improvement in they
cycles after taking a fertility supplement like FertilAid.

Help For Cervical Mucus Issues
~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~
If you find that you are not seeing much super slippery
egg white cervical mucus around ovulation time, you may
hindering your partner's sperm from making a successful
journey to your egg.
In addition to using Pre-Seed as a lubricant, you may
want to give this new product a try!
FertileCM Supplement Capsules:
- Naturally and safely support the production of cervical fluids.
- Increase female arousal and sexual stimulation.
- Increase hydration of the mucin (liquidity of mucus).
- Promote mucus alkalinity and mucosal thinning.
- Support a healthy uterine lining for implantation of your embryo.
As Dr. Amos Grunebaum suggests, "For many women, problems
with cervical mucus - or CM - may cause obstacles to getting
pregnant. If cervical mucus is not present to provide a
healthy medium for sperm, then conception may be inhibited.
FertileCM is designed to help women produce fertile-quality
cervical fluids - and increase the odds of conception."
