What is an Anovulatory Cycle?
~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~

If anovulation happens before menopause then it will play a role in
infertility or difficulty conceiving. It is not uncommon for women to
experience an anovulatory cycle here or there, especially during
adolescence and perimenopause. However, it is not normal for women of
childbearing age to frequently experience anovulatory cycles.

Are There Ovulation Signs I Should Look Out For?
~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~

When you are trying to get pregnant you want to know when your most
fertile time will be so that you can time intercourse. Women are
fertile for a few days out of the month, but the days before and
during ovulation are the most fertile. You might use the method of
counting days to determine when you are fertile, but since all women
are different this method is not exactly reliable. There are body
changes that you can look out for, though, that will really help you
determine if you are ovulating or if ovulation is about to occur.

TTC and Choosing a Name

As people we tend to want to give names to things, especially our
offspring. However, if you are trying to conceive and have had several
miscarriages and already had a name picked out you may feel like you
need to come up with a name for each pregnancy. On the other hand, you
may feel like the name you have picked out is the right name for the
child that is your firstborn. Regardless of how you feel about the
naming issue it’s up to you to decide what is right.

Trying to Conceive and the Risk of Multiples

The goal of trying to conceive can overwhelm some women, and even
their doctors, and the outcome may not always be bright. The outcome
is obviously trying for a positive pregnancy test and ultimately a
healthy baby. However, the methods used to get that positive pregnancy
test are sometimes unethical and can put the mom-to-be and her unborn
children at risk during pregnancy and in the future. What am I talking
about? Large multiple births.
