How do pregnancy tests work?

Home pregnancy kits work by testing for the hormone called human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG). HCG is secreted by the fertilized egg when it implants in the lining of the uterus.

Why do the tests say AimStrip instead of AimStick?

The manufacturer has changed the name from AimStick to AimStrip. It is the exact same test with a different name.

When can I test with AimStrip pregnancy tests?

Because of their high sensitivity factor in detecting human hCG, the AimStrip pregnancy test ( 20 mIU/ml hCG ) can confirm pregnancy as early as 6-8 days past ovulation. To help lower the chances of a false negative, the best time to test would be at 9 or 10 days past ovulation.

How does the AimStrip (formerly known as AimStick) brand compares to other brand name tests?

You can compare the sensitivities of the major brands on our comparison page. The AimStrip tests are 99% accurate when used according to instructions and conform with latest OTC (over-the-counter) pharmacy brand technology and performance. Each midstream pregnancy test comes individually foil sealed to insure test integrity and shelf life.

How do the AimStrip pregnancy tests compare to other pregnancy tests found in other internet stores?

If you "window shop" on the internet, you will find other web sites which sell pregnancy tests like we do. These tests may cost less, but based on the reviews found on some internet "trying to conceive" communities, there were cases where the results were not accurate for the tester.

AimStrip (formerly known as AimStick) pregnancy tests have consistently received good reviews from our customers and are considerably less expensive than the tests you buy in a drug store and have the accuracy and reliability you want. If you are window shopping, look for the AimStick name and be assured you are buying a reliable quality product which will give you accurate results earlier than other brands.

We had been trying to conceive for a year with no luck. I finally bought the big pack of pregnancy tests, and the first one I used was positive! I gave the remainder to some friends who were having a hard time getting pregnant, and the first one she used was positive too! We now have two sweet and healthy babies. These little strips are good luck!

i've been with my husband for almost a year now. i started ordering these, 10 at a time. i ordered about 20-30 of them and they were all negative. which was a good thing at the time. but i have recently taken one and there is a faint line...so now we're waiting for the morning so we can take another one because this one i think was just a little too early....
